It looks like that silly anti-prostitution bill has indeed passed (36-2) and it’s now illegal to have sex for money indoors. Our condolences to the prostitutes, some trannies, employees of 727 and like a million “spas” in Providence.

Its interesting that on a site/blog that claims to be about Providence nightlife that they would fail to report on the topic of later bar/club openings in this city and instead on prostitution… Seems as though they have even their own priorities mixed up. Really, how many “unique hits,” Bitchidence?
bars can stay open an hour later but that doesnt mean you can drink an hour later. they stay open an hour later so traffic isnt as bad when all the clubs rush out at 2:05 on the weekends and also to give you a chance to sober up. you still get overnight parking tickets anytime past 2AM Sun-Thurs and past 3AM Fri & Sat… And its not mandatory for a club to have this… It actually requires a special license, which requires $$$ from the club…
hey what does this new law do to the mayors favorite prostitute ..ie( BRENT/matt) does he get a speacial deal or does he have to get a real job too? And not just that mess what about the other messes? Are they going to have to find real work or is there some special way to hire them now LOL … maybe this is the first step in cleaning up providence .. although think of all the good bitchidence stories and gossip that were not going to be able to read about…
along with the prostitution law, you do know that bars can now stay open an hour later on the weekends
and more importantly no texting while driving in RI…..
