To Keep Cool, Providence Suggests Gays Go To Shady Places

Well, it’s been a while since our last post and some of you out there have been getting antsy (like you’re not out at the bars ANYWAY). Fortunately we’ve spent all of our time in Providence, so there’s a lot to talk about.

How about this strange series of parties by those PR dykes Glory & Jamie?
Gallery? Tantric? and now Elements? It’s like we have a new Chris Harris on our hands! You know, if Harris split in two, spoke Spanish and let everyone from Chadbrown in for free at all the shittiest clubs in the city… Well, at least we don’t have to worry about them bouncing off of cars after the bars close. We’re not bitter or anything, this is BITCHidence after all; we just want these lezzes to use their powers for the good of the WHOLE gay city, not just the ones who watch MTV tr3s.

So anyway, we’re just not excited about anything in particular this summer. Maybe we’ll break down and go to one of the vag parties with the terrible flyers down at Therapy (how the hell did THAT happen? They don’t even advertise it on their website… Did anyone go last Saturday?) We just can’t see paying $20 to go see some local DJ fuck around while we rot with a $7 bottled water in our hands. Can you? More likely though we’ll have to wait for Labor Day and Out Weekend in Boston before anything exciting happens.

Last weekend of course we went to Dark Lady‘s Christmas in July block party thing, like everyone else. We were surprised it was so busy, it was like the Pride block party all over again except this time the drag show lasted the WHOLE night. No matter though, we had more fun inside watching the gays drink themselves slutty silly.

Then Monday we dropped into Rande‘s birthday party at Dark Lady and watched DJ Cisco play that ancient D’ove L’amore video for 10 people at Mirabar.

Caliente!
